With special thanks to the amazing generosity of the Musgrave Foundation, five of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks service were awarded grants today. This partnership helps these services are able to serve our most vulnerable neighbors now and into the new year!
Ambassadors for Children, Crosslines, Connections Handyman Service, Safe to Sleep, and RSVP are all recipients of a combined total of $35,000 in grant funding.
The Musgrave Foundation held a press conference today at Sherwood Elementary School to award grants to 61 non-profit organizations, including the Council of Churches of the Ozarks’ five outreach services, in southwest Missouri, totaling more than $462,000.
The Musgrave Foundation supports services that impact children and senior services; healthcare and education; poverty, hunger, homelessness; arts and community betterment. From its inception to date in 2015, the Foundation has awarded grants totaling more than $13.5 million to selected charities, primarily in Greene and the immediate surrounding counties in Missouri.
