The Kid's Clothes Closet

KCremodelgirls     Closet

What is the Kid's Clothes Closet?
It's a fun place where foster children from Greene County can go twice per year to get free brand new clothing, gift cards for shoes, new winter coats, pajamas, socks, underwear and free haircut coupons (courtesy of The System, a Paul Mitchell Partner School). All items are intentionally brand new. This promotes self-esteem and relieves the financial burden placed upon local foster parents. For many foster children, it's the first new clothing they have ever worn. It gives them pride in their appearance & a reason to smile when everything else in their life might seem to be falling apart.

The Kid's Clothes Closet began in 2001 and has served over 4,000 local foster children since 2001. We served almost 600 foster children in 2011, a new record! Our Kid's Clothes Closet is located at 500 W. Battlefield, Suite B Springfield MO  65807.
