RSVP Modifies Services

RSVP is and serves an identified vulnerable population and is taking extra precautions to protect these individuals from COVID-19.  RSVP continues to provide modified Homebound Shopping services and is creatively exploring community reading and mentor opportunities.

Homebound Shoppers will continue to shop for clients online, utilize store pick-up and drop off food at the door.

Reading Buddy and Pre-K Pal tutoring and mentoring sessions will resume soon.  In person and virtual opportunities available.

Future RSVP group meetings and trainings will adhere to occupancy and physical distancing recommendations.

General financial support is always welcome, as needs can vary in scope and urgency. In addition to providing a gateway between senior volunteer and clients, RSVP provides training, enrichment opportunities for seniors, books for the children and household items for the homebound seniors.

Financial contributions save you a trip to the store and can also be used to purchase:

  1. Welcome bags for new homebound seniors to the program.
  2. Reading Buddy Bags for students.
  3. Training material for volunteers.
