The Council of Churches of the Ozarks serves with compassion and efficiency. In 2015, 91 cents of all revenue reported was used for direct services to clients: feeding hungry families, sheltering homeless women, and providing hope to children and seniors.
We believe in transparency and in good stewardship. Thanks to your support, we’re able to serve the most vulnerable neighbors in our community.
Websites like Charity Navigator are excellent measures of many elements of non-profit management and services. As a church-related organization, we are not able to be evaluated by Charity Navigator. The Council of Churches of the Ozarks is independently audited and we do complete IRS Form 990 annually, (the financial document used by evaluation websites) and you are encouraged to review our 990 to better understand our organizational finances.
We hosted our 2016 Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 4th in the Crosslines warehouse. The “business” of the Annual Meeting included a recap of 2015 financials, approval of the 2016 budget, and election of new Board Members and Officers. For the convenience of our Member Churches and donors, we’ve included selected slides from the meeting here.
