George Bailey, in It’s A Wonderful Life, thought life was no longer worth his existence. He felt that his family, his friends, just everyone in general would be better off if he had never been born. Have you ever felt that way? Luckily, George met Clarence who taught him that his life touches everyone and that his life is worth a lot.
Council of Churches of the Ozarks began to wonder what if in 1969 we had never been “born”? 48 years erased from the history books. What would have happened to all the families and individuals we have helped over the years? Visit each of our outreach services to learn what impact it would have had on our community if Council of Churches and their 9 outreach services had never been “born”.
Then tell us your story. Everyone has a story to tell. Whether your story is from George Bailey’s perspective of being overwhelmed, or from Clarence’s prospective of lifting someone up; your life and who you touch matters. We want to hear your “George Bailey” story.
