Sweepstakes Rules

  • Tickets may not be sold to persons under the age of 18. It is required that ticket sellers advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under the age of 18 years on the ticket due to the requirements of the Public Trustee Act.
  • Winners, as listed on ticket, including valid name, address, and phone number, must claim the prize. Winner must have a valid state-issued driver or non-driver license, U.S. passport, or military identification to claim and receive the prize.
  • The odds of winning are dependent on the number of valid entries.
  • Tickets are non-refundable. Council of Churches of the Ozarks, Inc., including each of its outreach organizations (hereinafter “CCO”), reserves the right to convert the raffle into to a 50/50 cash raffle, in which the winner receives half the raffle proceeds instead of the raffle prize, in the sole discretion of CCO.
  • Winning ticket and valid state-issued driver or non-driver license, U.S. passport, or military identification must be presented in order to claim prize.
  • Cash and all major credit cards are accepted for the entry fee. Acceptable credit cards include: American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
  • Lost tickets will be voided and not valid in the drawing.
  • Employees of CCO and their immediate household family members are not eligible to win. CCO board members are eligible to win.
  • Any prize winner will be required to complete IRS Form W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) prior to receipt.
  • An organization may not purchase a ticket in its name, nor can anyone purchase a ticket and put it in the name of an organization.
  • Only individuals (i.e., natural persons) are eligible to win.
  • Winners agree, as a condition of receiving any prize, to appear on all promotional items in conjunction with the giveaway and CCO. Winners grant, as a further condition of receiving any prize, the right of CCO to use the winner’s name, likeness and/or biography in connection with any and all promotional campaigns of CCO.
  • Ticket control will be handled by finance/accounting department of CCO and is subject to audit at any time.
  • Unclaimed prizes or money of equivalent value may be donated to CCO, in the sole discretion of CCO.
  • Individuals purchasing or receiving tickets agree that all prizes are awarded on the condition that CCO and its agents and representatives will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from the purchase or receipt of any ticket or the acceptance, possession or uses of any prize received in this sweepstakes.
  • Prize winners further acknowledge that CCO, including its agents or representatives, have made no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to the quality, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular purpose, of any prize in this sweepstakes.
  • Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
  • Winners are responsible for all taxes on prizes.
  • Winner must claim possession of the prize by August 15, 2019 or forfeit the prize.  All arrangements/costs incurred to receive the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  • Tickets/entries received after August 2, 2019 at 11:59pm are considered late and ineligible.
