Congratulations to the 2015 Celebrate Compassion recognition award recipients! We can’t thank you enough for your selfless giving to the Council of Churches of the Ozarks and our nine services!
The third annual Celebrate Compassion recognition event for Council of Churches of the Ozarks’ (CCO) volunteers and donors was held Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015 at the Ramada Oasis Convention Center.
More than 300 attendees gathered for an evening to celebrate compassion in our community. Presenting sponsor Thrivent Financial partnered with the Council of Churches of the Ozarks to host volunteers and donors who together support multiple Council of Churches of the Ozarks Outreach Services such as Crosslines, Safe to Sleep, and Ambassadors for Chidren. Supporting sponsors Mercy Health System and Assemblies of God Theological Seminary helped to honor the individuals and churches who enable the Council of Churches of the Ozarks mission to thrive.
The evening included a recognition ceremony, spotlighting outstanding work by individual volunteers and churches. The recognition recipients for 2015 were:
