Crosslines offers support to individuals and families in need of food assistance. We understand the difficulties facing our clients, and we are committed to providing the best experience and services to the people we serve.

Crosslines operates a “client-choice” pantry model which looks a lot like your local grocery store. You’ll be partnered with one of our volunteer shoppers, and you will fill your cart with the items that best fit your family’s preferences and dietary restrictions.

A stop by the Crosslines pantry gives support to individuals and families, which can alleviate some of the pressure of the family budget, freeing up resources for other expenses.

Crosslines offers more than just food assistance! Qualifying clients can receive other support items such as; diapers, layettes, and prenatal/children’s vitamins. For more information about our other services, please call 417-869-0563.

The Front Desk volunteers will check to see if you are eligible to receive assistance and see that you have a recent piece of mail and Social Security identification for the members of you household. Then they will direct you to the Check-In desks or the waiting room.

At the Check-In desk, volunteers will create an account for your household in our database. It will include contact information, a list of members of your household, rent/utilities, and income/assistance information. Check-In desk volunteers will also ask if you would like USDA foods or other services we have available.

After the Check-In desk, a volunteer shopper will lead you through the pantry so you can select items that best fit the needs and preferences of your family. Then volunteers will help carry your groceries to your car.
