The Council of Churches of the Ozarks (CCO) is a faith-based 501(c)3 serving Southwest Missouri for more than five decades.

Dedicated to combatting poverty in all its forms, CCO strives to be “the easy button” for those in need and those who wish to serve them.
By offering a wide array of programs designed to address, prevent and eliminate poverty – CCO helps families meet basic needs and move from scarcity to security.

CCO’s best-known programs include Ambassadors for Children, Crosslines Food Pantry, Diaper Bank of the Ozarks, Math and Reading Buddies, and Safe to Sleep Emergency Women’s Shelter.

In 2023, CCO positively impacted the lives of 52,041 children, 460 unsheltered women, 26,477 seniors, and a total of 103,713 neighbors in need.
